On January 14, 2016 at the premises of the Ministry of Regional Development, Building and Housing and Communal Services of Ukraine (hereinafter – MinRegion) the monitoring mission of the beneficiary readiness to implement the Twinning project “Introduction of a Management System of Wastes of Electric and Electrical Equipment (WEEE) in Ukraine” was conducted.

The project will be implemented by the consortia which consist of Austria, France and Spain and directed to foster the introduction in Ukraine of a waste management system that guarantees a higher level of protection of the environment and human health.

During the meeting, the practical recommendations regarding this project implementation were provided, in particular regarding providing with the sufficient conditions of work of the EU experts the beneficiary premises.

In the meeting Liudmyla Poltorachenko, Head of the Municipal Solid Waste Management Division and Oksana Plyashkova, Chief Specialist of the Municipal Solid Waste Management Division of MinRegion took part.

The Senior Consultant on the Twinning Coordination Sector of the Center for Adaptation of the Civil Service to the Standards of the European Union Olesia Voroniuk attended the meeting.
