The PADOS II project «Modern Leadership and Capacity Building in Public Sector in Eastern Partnership Countries» was opened

 On June 27, 2017 at the premises of the Finnish Institute of Public Management (HAUS) PADOS II project “Modern Leadership and Capacity Building in Public Sector in Eastern Partnership Countries” was opened.

The overall objective of the project is modern Leadership and capacity building in public sector in Eastern Partnership countries.

Managing Director of the HAUS Anneli Temmes performed her welcome speech and introduced main components, goals and objectives of the project.

During the meeting all the participants discussed the priorities of leadership development and public administration capacity as well future expectations of bilateral support within the framework of PADOS II project.

Representatives of the HAUS, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and National Board of Education of Finland as well as representatives of the EU initiative “Eastern Partnership” countries took part in the event.

On behalf of the Center for Adaptation of the Civil Service to the Standards of the European Union the meeting was attended by the Head of Human Resources Development Department Anzhela Kukulia.

the PADOS II project is funded by the Finnish Ministry of Foreign Affairs and implemented by the Finnish Institute of Public Management.

The beneficiary countries of the PADOS technical assistance project are: Republic of Armenia, Azerbaijan Republic, Belarus, Georgia, Moldova and Ukraine.
