Representatives of the National Agency of Ukraine on Civil Service and the Ministry of Defence of the Kingdom of Norway agreed to cooperate on the implementation of public administration reform

A Protocol of Intentions on Cooperation and Information Sharing regarding the Implementation of Public Administration Reform and an Action Plan for Cooperation with the Centre for Integrity in the Defence Sector (CIDS) for 2019 - 2022 were signed between the National Agency of Ukraine on Civil Service (NACS) and the Ministry of Defence of the Kingdom of Norway.

The action plan provides for the provision of methodological, technical and expert assistance in the personnel management sphere, procedures for determining the professional training needs of civil servants, support for the integrity of civil servants, as well as the study of the best practices and the exchange of experience in the personnel management.

The Deputy Director of the Center for Integrity in the Defence Sector Tore Kvalvik said that the cooperation between CIDS and the NACS has been going on for two years and has had positive results in the analysis of the positions, the development of job descriptions and the study of the organizational culture in the civil service.

The Head of the NACS Oleksandr Starodubtsev in his turn shared with foreign colleagues his own vision of the priorities of the NACS work, development of personnel management services, creation of a basis for emergence of effective leaders and complete cultural transformation of the civil service in general.
