During the conference Tatiana Kovtun, the Director of the Centre for Adaptation of Civil Service to the Standards of European Union Kristina Larsson and Miriam Toplanska, the Coordinators of the Projects of the European instrument of Neighbourhood and Partnership D4 Department of the General Directorate of the European Commission on Enlargement (DG Enlargement), as well as Eleonora Nikolaychuk, Coordinator of Twinning, TAIEX, SIGMA instruments of The Delegation of the European Commission in Ukraine came forward with presentations.

The second session of the event was devoted to the work in groups for the purpose of discussion of  issues on strengthening of the quality of TAIEX events preparation process and the increase of efficiency and effectiveness of such measures.

Subsequent to the results of the group work, proposals on simplification of the procedure of European Commission’s consideration of TAIEX requests delivered by state power authorities of Ukraine and the improvement of the procedure of granting assistance within the framework of TAIEX Instrument were submitted.

Sixty representatives of  executive power bodies of Ukraine took part in the event are beneficiaries and potential beneficiaries of  TAIEX project.

After completion of seminar, Tatiana Kovtun conducted a conciliatory conference with participation of representatives of the European Commission, the Delegation of European Commission in Ukraine and Administrative Office of Twinning Program during which the problem issues of the use of TAIEX instrument in Ukraine and ways of their solution were discussed. Subsequent to the results of the noted conference, a new simplified mechanism of consideration of requests of the state power authorities of Ukraine was concerted, in particular, reduction of time frames for consideration of application forms of TAIEX and their subsequent sending by the Administrative Office of the Twinning Program for direct consideration to European Commission.
