On February 2, 2017 at the premises of the National Agency of Ukraine on Civil Service within the framework of the working visit of the EU Advisory Team on Public Administration Reform Implementation the working meeting aimed at discussion of headcount and wage bill monitoring was held.
Expert of Advisory Team on Public Administration Reform Gregor Virant in his welcoming speech introduced the report based on the results of headcount analysis of civil servants of Ukraine and the EU Member States as well as presented the proposals submitted by the EU Advisory Team on headcount monitoring that will promote transparency in the area of civil service.
The Head of the National Agency of Ukraine on Civil Service Kostiantyn Vashchenko admitted that within the framework of realization the Strategy for Public Administration Reform in Ukraine for 2016-2020 the NAUCS has developed and confirmed the methodology of carrying out operative and transparent headcount monitoring of employees of the government authority and their salary expenses.
Experts of the Advisory Team on PAR Ansi Shundi and Ugis Sics,
representatives of the Ministry of Social Policy of Ukraine, Ministry of Finance of Ukraine,
State Statistics Service of Ukraine, State Fiscal Service of Ukraine, NAUCS and the Center for Adaptation of the Civil Service to the Standards of the European Union took part in the working meeting.
