July 22, 2025 was a continuation of the cycle of online training activities within the framework of the general short-term training program “Public Policy Analysis”, which was developed and implemented in pursuance of paragraph 2.2.4.1.4. of the State Anti-Corruption Program for 2023-2025, approved by the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine as of March 4, 2023, No. 220.
On this training day, Hanna Tretyachenko, First Deputy Director of the Center for Adaptation of the Civil Service to the EU Standards, discussed with the participants the standardization of policy analysis procedures in Ukraine and the world.
Existing analytical documents and their classification, including white papers, green papers, and public policy papers, were discussed in detail. The participants also had the opportunity to learn about analyzing the impact of regulatory acts.
In the second part of the training, Maryna Zhuravel, Deputy Director of the Center for Adaptation of the Civil Service to the Standards of the European Union, presented information on the activities of the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) in the field of public policy analysis, relevant OECD standards and recommendations, and the principles of public administration of the SIGMA program. During the discussion, the actual experience of the European Union institutions (European Commission) was also considered.
The final third training day, no less full of useful information on conducting public policy analysis, awaits the participants.
