On 29 July 2025, as part of the methodological and advisory support provided by the Center for Adaptation of the Civil Service to the Standards of the European Union, with the support and assistance of the Hanns Seidel Foundation, an online meeting was held with representatives of the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine on the practical application of the Common Assessment Framework (CAF).
The Director of the Center, Maryna Kanavets, welcomed the participants and emphasized the crucial role of quality management, including through the use of the CAF model, in ensuring the effective operation of government authorities.
First Deputy Director Hanna Tretiachenko and Head of the Projects management Department Angela Kukulia shared valuable and detailed information about the CAF model, its purpose, methodological principles, key features, as well as practical advice on using this tool.
In addition, participants had the opportunity to learn more about the current work of the Center on methodological support for the implementation of the CAF model, in particular:
- the manuals “Common Assessment Framework CAF 2020: The European Model for Improving Public Sector Organisations through Self-Assessment” and “Identification, Prioritization and Implementation of Improvement Actions Based on the Results of Self-Assessment Using the CAF Model: Part 2. Methodologies for Setting Priorities”;

- and the official website of the Ukrainian National CAF Resource Centre.
