On March 23, 45 years ago, the European Institute of Public Administration (EIPA) was officially established on the occasion of the European Council meeting in Maastricht.
Since 1981, EIPA has been at the forefront of advancing public administration, supporting governments, strengthening governance, and helping to put policies into practice across Europe and beyond.
From its earliest days to key milestones over the decades, EIPA has built a strong legacy of training, research, technical assistance, and collaboration with public sector professionals and institutions.
