The Second Mission for the Needs Assessment on the Association Agreement Implementation

Since October 14 to November 4, 2013 there is the Second Mission of the EU experts dedicated to the institutional needs assessment of the central executive authorities that are responsible for the Institutional Reform Plan in the sphere of implementation of the prospective Association Agreement between Ukraine and the European Union (IRP).

Within the framework of the institutional reform plan realization in the sphere of implementation of the Association Agreement between Ukraine and the European Union, approved by the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine dated October 10, 2012 №767-p, on October 14, 2013 in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine the session of interdepartmental coordination group on monitoring of the IRP realization was held.

The EU experts presented the report regarding the results of the First Mission of the experts “Needs Assessment concerning the IRP in the Sphere of Implementation of the Association Agreement between Ukraine and the European Union” including the development of project documentation.

From the the Center for Adaptation of the Civil Service to the Standards of the European Union Iryna Luchynska, the Acting Deputy Director of the Twinning Programme Administration Office, the Head of the Twinning Project Coordination Unit and Olena Torokanets-Turchenko, the Head of Human Resource Management Unit took part in the event.

For reference: since 2005 according to the Decree of the President of Ukraine dated on 06.10.2005 № 1424/2005 «The Issue on Provision of the Twinning Programme Implementation in Ukraine»  the National Agency of Ukraine on Civil Service directs and coordinates the activity on preparation and implementation the Twinning Programme in Ukraine. Moreover the NAUCS is the national coordinator of implementation of the institutional building instrument TAIEX and CIB Programme according to the relevant legal acts.
