The working meeting with the representatives of the “Reform Advisory Fund” (GIZ)

On July 10, 2017 the working meeting of the Head of the NAUCS Kostiantyn Vashchenko with the representatives of the “Reform Advisory Fund” (GIZ) was held.

The Head of the NAUCS Kostiantyn Vashchenko in his opening speech underlined that the public administration reform remains one of the most priority tasks of the NAUCS, because mastering modern methods, management strategies and permanent improvement of the professional competencies are the priority objective on the way to the implementation of European principles and standards in the civil service area.

The Head of the NAUCS presented the condition of the implementation of public administration reform, noting the faced challenges and other projects of international technical assistance to the National Agency of Ukraine on Civil Service.

During the meeting international participants of the GIZ assessment mission expressed readiness to cooperate with the possibility of continuing a comprehensive human resources management training program that aimed at education of trainers capable of implementing European principles and standards in the civil service area according to the new edition of the Law of Ukraine “On Civil Service”.

The most actual issues related to theoretical and practical aspects of the improvement of professional skills of the civil service staffing and local self-government authorities, in particular the formation of effective unified curricula and programs that allowed using the newest methods, instruments as well as approaches to solving the urgent public administration problems were considered.
