The visit of the Ukrainian delegation to the Canadian School of Civil Service (Ottawa) continues

The study visit to the Canadian School of Civil Service (Ottawa) is performed with the support of “Ukrainian Civil Service Human Resource Management Reform”. The Ukrainian delegation consists of First Deputy Director of the Center for Adaptation of the Civil Service to the European Union Standards Andriy Bega and the School of Senior Civil Service Director Oleksandr Saienko.

The aim of the study visit is the participation in 5-day training course on leadership development “Self-awareness of the Leader and Leadership in Action”, which has been held by the Canadian School of Civil Service with the participation of Canadian civil service senior level chairmen. The training is aimed at leaders’ personal development and their ability to lead the team and influence the organizational culture.

The Ukrainian delegates’ participation in the above-mentioned event was approved during the visit of the Head of the Main Civil Service Department in Ukraine Tymofiy Motrenko to Canada in November 2010. The delegates were invited by the Civil Service Commission President Maria Barrados.
