The visit of the Ukrainian delegation to the Canadian School of Civil Service continues

 On March 14, 2011, on the eighth day of the study visit to the Canadian School of Civil Service (Ottawa) of the School of Senior Civil Service Director Oleksandr Saienko and the First Deputy Director of the Center for Adaptation of Civil Service to the European Union Standards Andriy Bega, the delegates met Donna Achimov, Canadian School of Civil Service Vice-President and the Board of Directors Member of the Association of Professional Executives of the Public Service of Canada (APEX), and EvaKmiecic, United Way of Canada Vice-President, Supervisory Board Member of the Institute on Governance and former Vice-President of APEX Secretariat.

 In the afternoon delegates had a meeting in the Canadian State Treasury Secretariat with the team of civil servants of the Office of the Chief Human Resources Officer, who are responsible for training and development in Canadian civil service (Talent Management Sector).

  The Association of Professional Executives of the Public Service of Canada (APEX) was created as an independent non-governmental organization in 1984 and unites Canadian senior civil service officials, including those who have retired.
 The main its objective is promotion of leadership development and representation of the senior civil servants interests. Particularly, the Association focuses on the issues of salary payments, working conditions and Public Administration Reform.
 A separate group of the Association members consists of the retired officials, who continue cooperation with state institutions and the Association of Professional Executives of the Public Service. The group was created in 2004, the amount of its members exceeds 400 people.
