Director of the Department for Macroeconomic Forecasting of Ministry of Finance of Ukraine Volodymyr Parnyuk opened the event. He told about the satisfaction of the beneficiary with the project implementation and cooperation with short-term experts from EU member states participating in this process. Also Mr Parnyuk presented a vision of the Ministry for future actions under the project.

During the meeting Resident Twinning Advisors of the project Yves Dodane and Johan Palm presented the second quarterly report and planning of the future project implementation. This presentation was followed by comments given by participants of the Steering Committee. In particular, project coordinator from PAO Nadiia Kyzytska paid an attention of the participants to the content of project’s web- site (www.twinning-finance.org.ua).

The Steering Committee was participated by MS Project Leader Frank Mordacq, MS Deputy Project Leader Laszlo Buzas, Deputy Directors of the Department for Macroeconomic Forecasting Oleksiy Gak and Evgen Gladun, Director of the ADETEF Office in Ukraine 
Alain Thibault,  Sector Manager, Public Finance, Twinning, 
TAIEX and SIGMA of the Delegation of the EU to Ukraine Eleonora Nikolaichuk and others.

The next Steering Committee is going to be held on March 22, 2010.
