Meetings of the work groups on institutional reform plans (IRP) preparation in the areas "Migration" and "Support of the EU-Ukraine Association Agreement"

On December 8, 2010 work group meetings on preparation of IRP in the areas "Migration" and "Support of the EU-Ukraine Association Agreement" was held.
During the meeting mechanisms of IRP development in state aid area and technical assistance already available in the sphere were discussed. As well as institutional needs of public authorities in this area, including the need to change existing legislation to EU requirements, optimization of management system in the sector, the need of the introduction of e-governance and in developing strategic documents in the sector etc.

The meetings were attended by representatives of state bodies of Ukraine, in particular, Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, Ministry of Economy of Ukraine, Ministry of Finance of Ukraine, Ministry of Justice of Ukraine, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, Ministry of Interior of Ukraine, Ministry of Labor and Social Policy of Ukraine and the EU Delegation in Ukraine, Ukrainian-European policy and legal advice centre (Ueplac) and independent experts.
Chairman of the meeting was Deputy Director of the Center for Adaptation of the Civil Service to the Standards of the European Union Natalia Kyrychenko. Olexandr Hnyedyh, Head of the Unit for CIB Coordination of the Center, made a presentation on the peculiarities of IRP preparation in the mentioned spheres. Meetings also were attended by senior consultant of this unit Serhiy Trotsenko.
