Solemn meeting of the staff of MDCSU on the occasion of the Day of State Flag of Ukraine and the 19th anniversary of Ukraine's independence

On August 20, 2010 a solemn meeting of the staff of MDCSU, Center for Adaptation of the Civil Service to the Standards of the European Union and the School for Senior Civil Service on the occasion of the Day of State Flag of Ukraine and the 19th anniversary of Ukraine's independence took place.

With the welcoming speech came forward Tymofiy Motrenko, the Head of the MDCSU. He stressed that in this day we must consider whether we find our place in contemporary world society, whether we are faithful to those ideals, which declared independence as the desire to win - it was action due to certain ideals. Further in speech he mentioned  unique publication - History of Civil Service of Ukraine, which is a proud of MDCSU, traces the historical path of formation of Ukrainian statehood. Quoting the philosopher Gegel, Tymofiy Motrenko emphasized that we are just a historical nation and we must constantly move forward, because the station - is fall.

Event was attended by famous Ukrainian politician, People’s Deputy of Ukraine of I, II, III, IV and VI convocations Ivan Zaiets. He told the participants about how the national flag was introduced to Parliament, which was voltage during the referendum, what obstacles stood in the way of establishing independent state symbols of Ukraine and many other interesting facts. He stressed that in our country business is mixed with state management, we must be prepared for serious reforms and  MDCSU today plays a significant in this way.

Following the tradition on the eve of Independence Day of Ukraine the best staff of MDCSU were awarded with the departmental honors and traditionally newly appointed employees swore the Oath of Civil Servant.
