February 19 – National Emblem of Ukraine Day

The State Emblem of Ukraine is one of the main symbols of our statehood, embodying the continuity of Ukraine’s statehood tradition and the pursuit of freedom and independence.

The golden trident on a blue shield has a centuries-old history and originates from the emblem of the princely state of Volodymyr the Great. In modern Ukraine, it is a symbol of sovereignty, unity, and the indomitable spirit of the Ukrainian people.

Today, the State Emblem of Ukraine unites us around shared values, reminds us of our history, and inspires us to continue the struggle for freedom and the future of our nation.

Let us honor the state symbols of Ukraine!
