On the initiative of the National Academy for Public Administration under the President of Ukraine, the annual All-Ukrainian Scientific and Practical Conference on International Participation "Public Governance in Ukraine: Status, Challenges and Development Prospects" was held.
The purpose of the Conference is to provide expert and scientific discussions on topical issues of public governance in the context of the latest challenges and to develop proposals for improving public governance in Ukraine.
Head of National Agency of Ukraine on Civil Service Kostiantyn Vashchenko in his statement "The Future of Global Governance" focused on analysis of key issues in the current geopolitical situation and the role of Ukraine in searching answers to challenges of our time for its successful inclusion in the new world order.
With the participation of scientists, lecturers of higher educational establishments, civil servants, local self-government officials, postgraduates and doctoral candidates, a discussion was held on:
- public policy in Ukraine: problems and prospects for development
- institutional practices in public policy and governance;
- reforming public authority at the local level;
- professionalization of public service in the context of modern challenges and reforms;
- socio-humanitarian vector of public governance: from fragmentation to social, spiritual and interethnic integration and consolidation of society.
Representatives of mass media, international and public organizations also participated in the Conference.
