On July 20, 2018 at the premises of the Ministry of Social Policy of Ukraine a meeting of Expert Council on Preventing and Combating Gender Discrimination (hereinafter – Expert Council) took place.

 During the meeting, members of Expert Council discussed an issue of ensuring equal rights and opportunities for women and men in Ukraine, considered the appeals on gender discrimination received in the second quarter of 2018 as well as defined further steps towards eliminating gender discrimination.

 On behalf of the Center for Adaptation of the Civil Service to the Standards of the European Union, Deputy Head of the Expert and Analytical Unit Anastasiia Alieksieienko attended the meeting.
