On May 16, 2022, in the online mode CAF National Correspondents Meeting, organized by the European Institute of Public Administration (EIPA), took place.
Marco Ongaro, Director General EIPA, delivered a welcoming address to the participants of the meeting and noted that under present conditions state organizations must correspond with the modern needs, adapt quickly to new conditions and be able to meet the needs of citizens and business, what makes the implementation of quality management system an important task for the development of public service.
Pavel Ivanof, Director National School of Public Administration and Mimi Jotova CAF National Correspondent Bulgaria presented the approach for the CAF implementation in Bulgaria and discussed the ways to ensure the CAF sustainability.
In addition, national correspondents had the opportunity to discuss topical issues in individual groups. During the working session critical aspects of the self-assessment process were discussed and analyzed, and the results of the discussions were presented to all participants of the meeting. Following the discussion, brief presentations on the following issues were presented:
- Risks and opportunities when organizing the self-assessment process;
- How to integrate the logic of the model in the general strategy of the organization.
Thus, all participants of the meeting had the opportunity to express their opinion on improvement of the self-assessment process and contribute to further development of CAF efficiency in the work.
Also, during the meeting the latest news about changes on the European CAF RC webpage and database were presented, which will significantly increase efficiency and convenience of the system for users of the CAF network.
