On March, 3, 2009 the Depchief of the Control and Supervision Department – the Chief of Section on prevention of corruption displays, Serhij Yaremenko and the First Deputy Director of the Center for Adaptation of Civil Service to the Standards of European Union Oleksandr Sayenko are in the business trip in Kharkov.

Respectable Behaviour of the Officials Empowered for Implementation of the State Functions

The purpose of the business trip is participating in the organization of the round tables and discussions for the purpose of acquaintance of public, civil servants, students, researchers, representatives of business and mass- medias in the field of creation and introduction of standards of professional ethics in civil service, mechanisms of exposure and settlement of interest conflict, in activity of public office workers, declaration of property, profits and charges of public office workers within the framework of the program «Millennium Challenges».

The topic of the first day of the round table was «Corruption Prevention and Counteraction in the Sphere of Civil Service: Professional Ethics, Declaration of Incomes, Charges, Property of Civil Servants, and Subsections of Internal Investigations».

During the round table Serhij Yaremenko came forward with the report: «The Draft of the Law on the Respectable Behaviour of the Officials Empowered for Implementation of the State Functions».
