Joint meeting of Twinning projects coordinators

On June 4, 2009, Director of the Center for Adaptation of Civil Service to the Standards of the Eropean Union, Director of the Twinning Administrative Office Tetyana Kovtun took part in a joint meeting of Twinning projects coordinators from Delegation of the European Commission to Ukraine, Twinning Programme Administration Office, Tacis Project “Implementation of Twinning Operations in Ukraine” (ITO) and resident advisors of Twinning projects. The meeting was conducted at the premises of the Delegation of the European Commission to Ukraine.

The meeting was also attended by the leader of the support program/Coordinator of cooperation between the Delegation of the European Commission in Ukraine Laura Garganyani, Coordinator of the Twinning project of the Representation of European Commission in Ukraine Eleonora Nikolaychuk, Leader of the ITO project Yanosh Zakoni.

During the meeting, participants exchanged experience and ideas concerning realization of Twinning projects on the stage of preparation and implementation, proposed own recommendations, remarks and ideas in relation to the improvement of the use of Twinning instrument, in particular with the purpose of preparation to the Annual conference on questions the instruments of instutional development, which will take place on June, 11-12 in Brussels. In addition, the ITO project presented principles of functioning and use of Twinning information control system (TWINS). After the presentation participants brought forwards their suggestions concerning the improvements in the system.
