More than 50 representatives from 45 Ministries and Agencies of Ukraine participated in the meeting. They were welcomed by Vadym Triukhan, Director of the Coordination Bureau on European and Euro-Atlantic Integration of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine. Mr Triukhan informed on the status of the relations between Ukraine and European Union and highlighted the role of Twinning and TAIEX instruments in public administration reform and increasing overall capacity of Ukrainian authorities to meet challenges of the time.

Eleonora Nikolaichuk, Sector Manager, Twinning, TAIEX and SIGMA, from the Delegation of the European Commission, stressed on the importance of such working meetings for representatives from various Ukrainian Beneficiaries with different experience and knowledge. The workshop would help them in learning, networking and exchange information for better Twinning. Ms Nikolaichuk said that the main idea of the seminar was to join efforts for resolving common problems which Ukrainian Administrations faced during preparation and implementation of the Twinning projects.
