GIZ trainings for State Secretaries and Heads of Personnel Services were started

 

 

 

On 21–23 June, 2017 at the premises of the National Agency of Ukraine on Civil Service the trainings for State Secretaries of Ministries and Heads of Personnel Services of Ministries, central executive authorities and other government authorities on human resource management in Ukraine with the support of the German Society for International Cooperation (GIZ) and within the framework of the Reform Advisory Fund Project will take place.

Head of the National Agency of Ukraine on Civil Service Kostiantyn Vashchenko in his welcoming speech underlined that the development and efficient use of human resources is an important component in the work of each government authority because it is an issue of a set of measures on the way to building a European state that needs to constantly learn and improve skills by learning from experiences of other countries.

Head of Capacity Building Unit of “U-LEAD” Programme Volker Stampe and GIZ representative Hans-Joachim Rieger welcomed all participants with beginning of the training as well as outlined the need of improving the professional competences on modern methods and strategies of the human resources management in civil service.

The aim of the trainings is to exchange experience and learn the best practices on modern methods of the human resources management in civil service.

International experts Hans-Joachim Rieger and Sue Treharne within the framework of the event will review the modern concepts, approaches, strategies and models on management, motivation and personnel evaluation.

In addition, participants will discuss and summarize a system of instruments for the development of human resources according to the European principles, standards of the civil service and provisions of the Law of Ukraine “On Civil Service”.
