On October 03, 2017 at the premises of the National Agency of Ukraine on Civil Service (NAUCS) the three-day-training on Module “A” within the framework of the Programme “Development of Citizenship Competences of Civil Servants” for representatives of higher education institutions, who are responsible for training masters under the specialty on Master’s Programme for the “Public Management and Administration” took place.
Head of the NAUCS Kostiantyn Vashchenko opening the training workshop in his welcome adress underlined that development of citizenship competences of civil servants and local self-government officials is an important prerequisite for the successful implementation of reforms in Ukraine. it was also noted on the importance of further implementation issues of education for democratic citizenship and human rights education in Master’s Programme for the “Public Management and Administration”.
During the first day event, the participants were introduced to principles of comprehensive democracies, democratic society and government, tendencies democratization of public services as well as the development of culture citizenship through education for democratic citizenship and human rights education: correlation of substantive content of Western and domestic scientific thinking and practice.
