During the meeting, Kostiantyn Vashchenko told about the tasks of the NAUCS, the civil service reform and the implementation of the Law of Ukraine "On Civil Service", which was developed together with the specialists of the SIGMA programme and takes into account better European practices.

Head of the NAUCS admitted that in accordance with the new legislation, new standards and instruments for staff management are being implemented today, training of heads of personnel management services is conducted, etc. Kostiantyn Vashchenko also told about reform specialists, their tasks, new procedures for the competitive selection of candidates for the reform staff positions, as well as the tasks of the directorates in the ministries.

At the meeting, it was underlined that the vacancies of the civil service are open and posted on the sites of NAUCS and career.gov.ua.

Gert Antsu in his speech noted that cooperation with Ukraine is important, especially in the context of overcoming challenges arising during the reform of the civil service and public administration in Ukraine, and stressed that the certification training of civil servants is key to the implementation of the reform.

As a result of the meeting, the parties agreed on further cooperation.
