On February 17, 2012 at the premises of the Main Department of Interior Troops of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine the working meeting on the Twinning project "Contribution to improvement of the system of public order protection by the Interior Troops of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine (ITU)" was held.

  During the meeting it was discussed the issues on project realization, which arose on initial stage of its implementation. In particular attention was focused on the issues of budget expenditures, expert missions, work of Resident Twinning Adviser’s office.

In the event took part Commissioner Divisional Michel Gerber, Resident Twinning Adviser of the project, representatives of Interior Troops of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine – Colonel Valeriy Kovalev, Head of International Cooperation Department , Major Serhiy Maltsev, Senior Officer of International Cooperation Department.

From Twinning Programme Administration Office Olesya Tsykaliuk, Acting Deputy Director of the Office and Yulia Motriuk, Coordinator of the mentioned Twinning project took part in the event.
