The overall objective of the project was enhancement of Ukrainian public finance system in line with international standards and EU best practice.

In his speech, Vyacheslav Tolkovanov noted that the implementation of the mentioned Twinning Project demonstrated commitment of the Ministry of Finance of Ukraine to strengthen their institutional capacity and to obtain new experience through using of the best European practices. Also, the National Agency of Ukraine on Civil Service supports commitment of the Ministry of Finance of Ukraine to establish a new Twinning Project and calls for more active use of the possibilities of cooperation in the framework of institutional building instruments Twinning and TAIEX.
