On March 6, 2018 at the premises of National Agency on Civil Service (hereinafter – NAUCS) Head of NAUCS Kostiantyn Vashchenko had a working meeting with Deputy Director of CIDS Tore Kvalvik.

During the meeting, Kostiantyn Vashchenko informed on public administration reform, which includes one of important assignment is capacity building of government authorities in human resource management.

Kostiantyn Vashchenko also looked forward to seeing further cooperation with the Center for integrity in the defence sector (CIDS) that will enhance the efficiency of personnel management service. In addition, Head of NAUCS stressed that expert assistance of CIDS in analyzing of civil service positions is valuable.

Deputy Director of CIDS Tore Kvalvik underlined the effectiveness of common activities with NAUCS and expressed the hope that contemporary HR-standards will be implemented in government authorities of Ukraine. It also was considered an issue on collaboration under the Letter of common intents between NAUCS and CIDS which applied since 2015.

Kostiantyn Vashchenko thanked for cooperation and expressed his hope for further effective collaboration, which will facilitate the implementation of new HR tools in the civil service.
