Meeting with the representatives of Estonian Center for Eastern Partnership and Foundation of Estonian School of Diplomacy

On June 8, 2011, in the building of the Main Civil Service Department of Ukraine the meeting with Dr. Vahur Made, Estonian for Eastern Partnership Managing Director, Ekke Nõmm, Head of the Foundation of Estonian School of Diplomacy, and Mati Murd, Deputy Head of Estonian Embassy in Ukraine Mission, took place. The participants discussed the possible areas of cooperation between Ukraine and Estonia in the sphere of public administration reform.

There were also discussed perspectives of such cooperation, particularly, in the framework of Regional Training Center on Public Administrative Reform (RTCPAR) in 2011, Activities within PAR PANEL in 2012 and other initiatives and events.

Among the participants of the event also were: Iryna Protchenko, Center for Adaptation of Civil Service to the Standards of the European Union Director, Andriy Bega, First Deputy Director of the Center, Natalia Kyrychenko, Deputy Director of the Center, Nadiia Kyzytska Head of the International Cooperation Projects Sector and Yaroslav Beresovsky, School of Senior Civil Service Expert.

Estonian Center of Eastern Partnerhsip (ECEAP) was launched on 1 January 2011 by the Estonian Ministry of Foreign Affairs in co-operation with the Estonian School of Diplomacy (ESD) to upgrade Estonia’s commitment towards the Eastern Partnership partner countries. (ECEAP) holds seminars on public administration reform (PAR) for officials from all EaP partner countries. The ECEAP also offers young diplomats, civil servants and civil society representatives scholarships to participate in the post-graduate training course “International Relations and European Integration” by the Estonian School of Diplomacy.
