The meeting was opened by Deputy Governor of the NBU Vira Rychakivs’ka. The approach of the European Central Bank to payment systems oversight was presented by ECB expert Matthias Göbel.  Robert Klepacz from National Bank of Poland told about payment systems oversight in Poland.

Natalia Lapko, Director of the Payment systems department of the NBU introduced Payment systems in Ukraine and Head of the Payment systems oversight division of the NBU Olena Makhayeva told about implementation of the payment systems oversight in Ukraine.

During the forum issues on registration and licensing and non-bank financial institutions remitting money and activities on detecting crime in the sphere of payment systems were also discussed.

Resident Twinning Adviser Arthur Radomski moderated the event.

Twinning project for NBU coordinator from PAO, Head of Sector for International Cooperation Projects of Center for Adaptation of the Civil Service the Standards of the European Union Nadiia Kyzytska participated in the forum.
