The event was organized by the National Agency of Ukraine on Civil Service together with the Center for Adaptation of the Civil Service to the Standards of the European Union and the Ukrainian School of Governance with the support of the UN Women “Gender Equality at the Center of Reform, Peace and Security” in Ukraine (with the financial support of the Swedish Government).
The participants of the training got acquainted with the main directions of the implementation of the state gender policy in Ukraine, international obligations and the national legal framework, gained knowledge on the implementation of gender impact assessment, stages of conducting gender legal examination of draft legal acts. Civil servants have practically learned how to carry out gender analysis in the process of preparing (drafting) proposals and decisions.
Mariana Orliv, docent of the Public Management and Administration Department of Ivano-Frankivsk National Technical University of Oil and Gas, Oksana Parkhomenko-Kutsevil, Head of the Public Administration Department of Interregional Academy of Personnel Management and Natalia Chermoshentseva, National Consultant on Gender Equality and Reform in support of the Office of the Vice Prime Minister on European and Euro-Atlantic Integration of Ukraine was conducted training.
All participants received certificates of advanced training at the end of the event.
