The 6th Steering Committee meeting of Twinning project was held

On May 25, 2011 at the premises of the State Agency of Ukraine for Investment and Development the 6th Steering Committee meeting of Twinning project "Enhancing Performance of the State Agency of Ukraine for Investment and Development in line with best European practices" was held.

During the meeting it was discussed implementation of activities in the framework of the sixth quarterly period (from 1.02.11 to 31.04.11). Also the participants reviewed the report and general project progress by components and have planned the project implementation in next quarter. Also discussed the issue of defining a new project beneficiary - the State Agency for Investments and Management of National Projects of Ukraine and the issue on changes to the Twinning contract due to changing of the beneficiary.

The Steering Committee was attended by: the Project Leader from the MS country (Ministry of Economics and Technology of Germany) Markus Mayer, MS Junior Project Leader (Agency for Information and Foreign Investment, Poland) Rafal Ignasiak, RTA Karl-Heinz Dubner, RTA Assistant Nadiya Tryshchuk, RTA Counterpart from Ukraine, Head of the Department for International Cooperation of the SAUID Nataliya Tymoshenko, Head of Division of attraction of foreign investments and creation of positive investment image of Ukraine abroad Stanislav Sakhno, Director of National Projects Department of Ukrnatsproekt Ihor Zhovkla, project manager from the EU Delegation to Ukraine Michal Gorzynski and others.

The next Steering Committee of this project is scheduled for September 2011.
