The Meeting of the Coordination Group on the Institutional Reform Plan in Sphere of Migration was held.

On April 21, 2011 the meeting of the Coordination Group on the Institutional Reform Plan in sphere of migration in the framework of the Comprehensive Institution Building Instrument was held in the premises of Main Department of Civil Service of Ukraine.

During the meeting participants discussed preliminary findings and recommendations to the Institutional Reform Plan draft produced by Marta Jaroszewicz, Head of Department for Ukraine, Belarus and Moldova of the Centre for Eastern Studies. Also the issues regarding structure of the Institutional Reform Plan, tasks, needs of the external assistance and further steps were negotiated.

In the meeting took part representatives of the Committee for Human Rights, National Minorities and Inter-ethnic Relations of Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, Secretariat of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, State Migration Service, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Internal Affairs, Ministry of Social Policy, Ministry of Justice of Ukraine, Administration of State Border Service, International Organization for Migration in Western CIS and Regional Legal Advisor of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees.

Iryna Protchenko, Director of Center for Adaptation of the Civil Service to the Standards of the EU, Natalia Kyrychenko, Deputy Director of the Center for Adaptation of the Civil Service to the standards of the EU and the First Deputy Director Andriy Bega also participated in the meeting
