Assignment of Deputy Director of Center for Adaptation of the Civil Service to the Standards of the European Union Nataiya Kyrychenko to Tbilisi (Georgia)

On February 21, 2011 Deputy Director of Center for Adaptation of the Civil Service to the Standards of the European Union Nataiya Kyrychenko started her assignment to Tbilisi (Georgia) to participate in 2-day Worksop on Institutional Building and CIB Programme Implementation an to meet representatives of Georgia public administration.

In particular, yesterday Nataiya Kyrychenko had a meeting with Head of the Data Exchange Agency Irakli Gvenetadze, and Director of Legal Department of the Agency Nato Hoderdzishvil. During the meeting achievements of Georgia on implementing e-government, providing administrative services in online mode, creation of a single web window for providing services and legal aspects of implementing such systems were discussed.

Today, on February 22, Nataiya Kyrychenko met Deputy Head of the National Service of Food Safety, Veterinary and Plant Protection Tornike Mgaloblishvili. They discussed the achievements of Georgia on institutional reforms in food safety area, as well as problems faced during reforms implementation. It was noted that the first stage of the reform should be to establish detailed strategies for its conduction.

Also today meeting with Director of Civil Service Bureau of Georgia Irakli
Kotetishvili and representative of the Bureau Irine Siamashvili took place. Participants changed the experience of Ukraine and Georgia on the approaches to civil service reform, discussed
further possible cooperation within the Regional Training Center.
