Among the participants were representatives of concerned public authorities – Ministry of Economic Development and Trade, Ministry of Finance, State Tax Service, Main Department of the Civil Service of Ukraine, and experts of the project “Harmonisation of Competition and Public Procurement Systems in Ukraine with EU Standards” financed by the European Union. Main Department of the Civil Service of Ukraine was represented by Sector Manager on Administrative Reform, SIGMA and CIB Projects of Centre for Adaptation of the Civil Service to the Standards of the European Union Mr Serhii Trotsenko.

 During the meeting the specific features of the legislation on state aid of Romania and Lithuania were discussed, and the next steps on drafting the Law of Ukraine “On State Aid to Business Entities” were agreed.

One of the fields of the Programme is reforming of state aid monitoring and control system in Ukraine. According to the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine dated 10/11/2010 № 2078-r „On Some Questions of Preparation and Implementation of the Comprehensive Institution Building Programme” Main Department of the Civil Service of Ukraine in co-operation with concerned authorities develops draft Institution Reform Plan in the sphere of state aid. Deputy Head of Main Department of the Civil Service of Ukraine Mr Andriy Vyshnevsky is a member of Inter-Agency Working Group on Developing of Draft Law of Ukraine “On State Aid to Business Entities”.
