On November 17, 2022 Donors’ conference with representatives of embassies, projects and international technical assistance programs was held. The main goal of the conference is the discussion of key development areas of civil service and support of international partners in enabling transformation in those spheres in the implementation of civil service tasks.
Head of the National Agency of Ukraine on Civil Service Nataliia Aliushyna in her introductory remarks emphasized that the NAUCS highly appreciates the support of partners and hopes for further fruitful and effective cooperation for the development of a professional, efficient, sustainable and politically impartial civil service.
In their welcoming speeches Head of Operations Section “Good Governance and Rule of Law” of the Delegation of the European Union to Ukraine Xavier CAMUS, Special Representative of the OSCE Chairmanship-in-Office - Project Co-ordinator in Ukraine, Ambassador Henrik Villadsen, Head of the Council of Europe Office in Ukraine, Representative of the Secretary General of the Council of Europe on the coordination of cooperation programmes of the Council of Europe Steen Norlov, OECD/SIGMA Country Manager for Ukraine, Regional Manager for ENI EAST Martins Krievins stressed that further cooperation with the NAUCS is extremely important, and emphasised that a common vision of goals and objectives for their further implementation is one of the key points of successful cooperation.
During the first plenary session of the conference Head of the NAUCS Nataliia Aliushyna presented the goals and priorities of the NAUCS, namely ensuring the functional development of personnel management services, reforming of the remuneration system, creation of a modern holistic, mobile and flexible system of professional training of civil servants, improvement of legislation, etc.
During the second plenary session of the conference representatives of international projects and programs presented developments in cooperation with the NAUCS during 2022 and outlined priorities for further cooperation.
The event was attended by representatives of international organizations, projects and programs of international technical assistance, international and domestic experts, representatives of the NAUCS, High School of Public Governance, the Center for Adaptation of the Civil Service to the Standards of the European Union.
