On June 15-16, 2023, a meeting of the Twinning and TAIEX National Contact Points of the EU Member States in cooperation with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Poland took place in Warsaw.
The aim of the meeting was to strengthen cooperation within the framework of the TAIEX and Twinning institution building instruments between the European Commission and EU Member States National Contact Points. The meeting became a platform for the exchange of experiences in implementing instruments and discussing future trends. The event also served as an opportunity to prepare for the 25th anniversary of Twinning.
On 16 June, during the plenary session, Yuliia Yerchenko, Deputy Director of the Center for Adaptation of the Civil Service to the Standards of the European Union, greeted the participants of the meeting online and expressed gratitude to the European side for their support and effective cooperation. Yuliia Yerchenko focused on the state of Twinning and TAIEX projects implementation in Ukraine under martial law and emphasised the priority directions for further cooperation.
The participants of the event got acquainted with the practical aspects of attracting and using institution building instruments and expressed their hopes for enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of Twinning and TAIEX implementation in Ukraine.
On behalf of the Center for Adaptation of the Civil Service to the Standards of the European Union, Yuliia Yerchenko, Deputy Director of the Center for Adaptation of the Civil Service to the Standards of the European Union and Olena Honcharuk, Head of the Twinning Coordination Division of the Unit of Twinning Programme Administration Office activities ensuring took part in the meeting.
