On 20 January 2025, the representatives of the Center for Adaptation of the Civil Service to the Standards of the European Union held an online meeting with the representatives of the Embassy of Japan in Ukraine, the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) and the Japan International Cooperation Centre (JICE).
Maryna Kanavets, Director of the Center, in her welcoming speech, expressed gratitude to the participants for their involvement and transparency, underlined the significant amount of work performed and achievements reached in 2024. She also stressed on the importance and possibilities of enhancing further cooperation with the Japanese partners.
The purpose of the meeting was the discussion of the Human Resource Development Scholarship (HRDS) project implementation in 2025-2026. In particular, the following issues were discussed:
- the project implementation schedule;
- the requirements for participation;
- the application process and list of required documents;
- the very procedure and criteria for candidate selection.
The meeting was attended by Maryna Kanavets, Director of the Center for Adaptation of the Civil Service to the Standards of the European Union, Hanna Tretiachenko, First Deputy Director, Anatolii Sopilka, Deputy Director, and Angela Kukulia, Head of the Project management Department of the Center for Adaptation of the Civil Service to the Standards of the European Union.
