On July 17, 2023, meeting of the Head of the National Agency of Ukraine on Civil Service, Nataliia Aliushyna and Project Manager of the Hans Seidel Foundation in Ukraine, Republic of Moldova and Romania Benjamin Bobbe took place.
During the meeting, the leaders discussed the implementation of joint projects and steps to deepen cooperation. The Foundation has been cooperating with the NAUCS for a long time and provides expert support and assistance in the implementation of the reform of public administration and civil service, local self-government, and professional training of public servants.
«It is important for us to continue to engage active, motivated young people who have fresh ideas and proposals for public policy in various areas. In fact, the all-Ukrainian Competition of Creative Works among Youth is a great help to this. And the Hanns Seidel Foundation is one of the partners of the competition », noted Nataliia Aliushyna.
According to the Head of the Agency, the NAUCS is working on the development and implementation of various training programs to develop a professional and efficient civil service. The priority topic of such programs is European integrity. In 2023-2024, it is planned to develop and conduct programs on topics such as media education and media literacy, and the rights of EU citizens. As well as modern tools for the professional development of civil servants. Furthermore, the plans for 2024-2025 include the revision and preparation of new policy analysis methodologies and the development of a new general professional program for civil servants.
In addition, the areas of further cooperation between the NAUCS and the Hanns Seidel Foundation include the development of training programs on de-occupation and reintegration of the temporarily occupied territory and management of the de-occupied territory.
In turn, Benjamin Bobbe noted that cooperation with the NAUCS is also important for the Hanns Seidel Foundation and confirmed his interest in continuing the joint projects launched.
