Among the participants of the working meeting of First Deputy Minister of Economic Development and Trade of Ukraine Mr Anatoliy Maksiuta with SIGMA Programme experts and representatives of the Delegation of the European Union were Director of the Department of Co-operation with the European Union of Ministry of Economic Development and Trade of Ukraine Mr Leonid Pyrozhkov and Deputy Director of the Centrer Adaptation of the Civil Service to the Standards of the European Union Ms Nataliya Kyrychenko.
European side was represented by Head of Operations / Co-ordinator for Cooperation Ms Laura Garagnani, Head of Section “Good Governance and Democratisation” of the Delegation of the European Union to Ukraine Mr Michael Vögele, and SIGMA Programme expert Ms Gunta Veismane.
During the speech Mr Anatoliy Maksiuta stated the position of Ministry of Economic Development and Trade of Ukraine concerning state policies co-ordination system in Ukraine, including the establishing of European integration co-ordination system.
The Sides discussed problematic questions, possible directions for improvement of the system, and demands for institutional formation of the state policies co-ordination system.
The meetings on drafting of the Institution Reform Plan in the sphere of steering and implementation process for the association agreement took place at the premises of Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, Ministry of Finance of Ukraine and Main Department of the Civil Service of Ukraine.
Among the participants were Deputy Director of the Centre for Adaptation of the Civil Service to the Standards of the EU Ms Nataliya Kyrychenko, representatives of Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, Ministry of Finance of Ukraine, Ministry of Infrastructure of Ukraine and Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine.
European side was represented by SIGMA Programme Expert Ms Gunta Veismane and Public Administration Reform Sector Manager Mr Volodymyr Kondrachuk.
During the meetings the Sides discussed practical aspects of drafting of the Institution Reform Plan in the area “Steering and Implementation Process for the Association Agreement”.
The meetings were held within the framework of the expert mission of the SIGMA Programme to Ukraine.
