Steering Committee meeting of Twinning Project in State Agency of Ukraine for Investment and Development.

On December 14, 2010 the State Agency of Ukraine for Investment and Development hosted the 4th Steering Committee meeting of Twinning project “Enhancing Performance of the State Agency of Ukraine for Investment and Development in line with best European practices”.

During the meeting its participants discussed the results of activities of the parties involved in the project during the 3rd quarter of its implementation. These activities were actually directed to review of existing project work plan, activities in its framework, components, etc. due to the change of beneficiary of the project, as according to Resolution of CMU from 30.06.10 № 570 "On establishment of State Agency of Ukraine for Investment and Development” Ukrainian Center for Foreign Investment (the previous beneficiary of Twinning) was eliminated and the State Agency of Ukraine for Investment and Development was established as the new one beneficiary.

During the meeting the RTA Karl-Heinz Dubner presented the updated work plan of the project, planned for next quarter activities in its framework, as well as the general situation on the terms of cooperation with the new beneficiary. The last one was appreciated by all involved parties to implement the project.

The Steering Committee was attended by: the Project Leader from the MS country (Ministry of Economics and Technology of Germany) Markus Mayer, MS Juniour Project Leader (Agency for Information and Foreign Investment, Poland) Rafal Ignasiak, RTA Counterpart from Ukraine, Head of the Division for International Cooperation of the SAUID Nataliya Tymoshenko, project manager from the EU Delegation to Ukraine Michal Horzynski, Deputy Director of the Center for Adaptation of the Civil Service the Standards of the European Union / Twinning Programme Administration Office in Ukraine Nataliya Kyrychenko, Senior Consultant of the Twinning and SIGMA instruments coordination Unit of the Center Nadiia Kyzytska, RTA Assistant Nadiia Tryshchuk and others. 

The next Steering Committee of this project is scheduled for February 18, 2011.
