In the Main Civil Service Department building “Technical Support to Public Sector in Ukraine, Phase 2” project initiation meeting took place

From the Danish side the event was attended by Morten Olesen, Project Director, “Technical support to Public Sector in Ukraine, Phase 2”, Peter Korsby, Team Leader and Baiba Petersone, Key Expert of the project. Tetiana Kovtun, Head of the Executive Authorities Improvement and Reforming Division of the Secretariat of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine held the meeting.

During the meeting the inception phase action plan of “Technical Support to Public Sector in Ukraine, Phase 2” project was discussed, as well as the local and foreign experts involvement and Public Reform process assistance.

Main Civil Service Department assistance includes:

1.1 Improved training programme on European Integration, improved skills of MDSCU staff on management of PAR and personal skills;

1.2 Policy analysis in the decision-making process improved;

1.3 The basis for the delivery of public services improved;

1.4 Support for the establishment of comprehensive multi-service network of civil service human resource management provided;

1.5 Improved capacity of the MDSC/School/Center staff to deliver their functions properly;

1.6 The network of practitioners and researches in the field of public administration and public management (further) developed.
