Antonina Kuzmenko, Deputy Director of the Department for Development and Coordination of the Transport and Communications System expressed gratitude to the partners, emphasized on the importance of the project, as the result the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine No. 2174-p dated October 20, 2010  "Transport Strategy of Ukraine by the period 2010" was adopted.

Peter Mueckenhausen, German Project Leader and Gerald Lamprecht Austrian Co-Project Leader also made a speech.

Gerd Kaschell, Resident Twinning Adviser (RTA) presented main achievements of the Twinning project and gave recommendations regarding future development of the Ministry of Infrastructure of Ukraine. In addition, Mr. Kaschellthanked to the representatives of the Ministry for fruitful cooperation and maintenance.   
Grigoriy Legenky, RTA Counterpart informed about the high importance of the gained experience and trainings (550 public servants were trained) during the project and admitted about interest in such projects. 

Iryna Luchynska, Project Manager, Twinning Programme Administration Office (PAO) informed about approving of the new Twinning proposal "Facilitation of the management improvement and development of the multimodal transport by provision of the coordinated Development Strategy and appropriate Action Plan" of the Ministry of Infrastructure of Ukraine during the Twinning Project Coordination Group meeting and emphasized on the PAO readiness to provide assistance in preparation of the new project.

Jurate Juodsnukyte, Project manager, Delegation of the European Union to Ukraine came forward remarks on importance of the transport sphere and continuation of the EU support in this sphere and expressed the hope that the project achievements will help Ukraine in its further development sector.

In the event also took part representatives of the Ministry of Infrastructure of Ukraine, economical mission under the Embassy of Germany, TEN-T project, GTZ International Services and short-term experts.
