Chairman of the Civil expert council under the Ukrainian Part of EU-Ukraine Cooperation Committee Oleh Rybachuk, Head of Operations / Coordinator for Cooperation, the Delegation of the European Union to Ukraine Laura Garagnani and First Secretary of Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Ukraine Boguslaw Gertruda came forward with welcome remarks to the participants of the event.

The conference was organized in the format of two plenary sessions. During the first of them presentation of NGOs, international experts and government of Ukraine concerned vision of CIB Programme and its implementation in Ukraine were held. In particular, Deputy Director of the Center for Adaptation of the Civil Service to the Standards of the European Union Nataliya Kyrychenko made a presentation on the role of public administration reform and institutional reform plans preparation in the context of socio-economic reforms Ukraine.

The second plenary session was held as a discussion of the CIB launching on sectoral level, namely in the areas of state aid, migration policies and sanitary and phyto-sanitary measures.

During the conference with their reports and presentations came forward Expert of EU project «Harmonisation of competition and public procurement in Ukraine»Denys Chernikov,  Chairman of the Center for Political and Legal Reforms, Member of  Civil expert council under the Ukrainian Part of EU-Ukraine Cooperation Committee Igor Koliushko, Head of the Institute for Euro-Atlantic Cooperation Oleksandr Sushko and others.

From the Center for Adaptation of the Civil Service to the Standards of the European Union the meeting was also attended by Senior Consultant of the CIB coordination Unit Serhiy Trotsenko and Senior Consultant of the Twinning and SIGMA instruments coordination Unit Nadiia Kyzytska.
