On September 21, 2010, the 1st Steering Committee meeting of the Twinning project "Supporting the Ministry of Finance of Ukraine in the fields of Public Debt Management and Budgetary Forecasting" was held in the premises of the Ministry of Finance of Ukraine. The aim of the meeting is discussion of the project implementation during the first quarter, which includes period from the 1st July till 31st August and approval of the draft plan in the next quarter.

Andriy Kravets, Deputy Minister of Finance opened the meeting; he stressed on the project importance for Ministry of Finance, in particular for others executive authorities in financial management. Also Deputy Minister expressed an opinion regarding the project future results.

 During the meeting Yves Dodane, RTA 1 and Johan Palm, RTA 2 presented the first quarterly report and planning of the future project implementation, than representatives gave comments to the report. Natalia Kyrychenko, Deputy Director of the Twinning Administration Office gave recommendations to report.

Representatives of the Ministry of Finance presented web-site of the Twinning project, there are information of the project implementation stage www.twinning-finance.org.ua .

The participants of the meeting were: Frank Mordacq, Project Leader, Alain Thibault, Director of the Adetef Office in Ukraine, Eleonora Nikolaichuk, Sector Manager, Public Finance, Twinning, TAIEX and SIGMA, the ECD and others.
