Regular meeting of the Joint Committee at Senior Official Level of the EU Ukraine Association Agenda took place

On 23 September 2010 in the premises of the Delegation of the European Union to Ukraine took place the regular meeting of the Joint Committee at Senior Official Level of the EU –Ukraine Association Agenda (hereinafter – AA). In the course of the meeting the sides discussed agreements of the videoconference of 14 April 2010, implementation status of AA, introduction of amendments in AA submitted by the bodies of state power of Ukraine as well as other provisions determined by the videoconference agenda.

In the event took part representatives of the bodies of state power of Ukraine and European Union. Director of the Center for Adaptation of the Civil Service to the Standards of the European Union S. Kucheruk and his deputy director N. Kyrychenko were part of the Ukrainian delegation. S. Kucheruk addressed the videoconference participants with a speech on the implementation of AA provisions particularly as for working closely together in reforming and enhancing the capacity of the public administration system in Ukraine on the basis of an assessment by SIGMA programme.
