Meeting of the Ukrainian part of the Committee at Senior Officials Level on Implementation of the EU-Ukraine Association Agenda

On 4 June, 2010 in the house of Government under the chairmanship of the director of the Bureau for European Integration of the Secretariat of the Cabinet of Ministers of UkraineEugene Perelygin was held meeting of the Ukrainian part of the Committee at Senior Officials Level on Implementation of the EU-Ukraine Association Agenda. The purpose of the meeting was to discuss a draft of the Common report on the implementation status of the abovementioned Association Agenda.

In the meeting took part representatives of the Bureau for European Integration of the Secretariat of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, Ministry of Economy of Ukraine, Ministry of Justice of Ukraine, Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, State Customs Service of Ukraine and Main Department of the Civil Service of Ukraine. The Deputy Director of the Center for Adaptation of the Civil Service to the Standards of the European Union Natalia Kyrychenko reported position of the Main Department of the Civil Service of Ukraine on the necessity of available instruments of the EU external assistance enlargement for Ukraine as well as emphasized on the priority cooperation in the sphere of public administration reform.

As a result of the meeting there was formulated common position of the Ukrainian side which is to be transmitted to the European Commission.
