Director of the Center for Adaptation of the Civil Service to the Standards of the European Union Serhiy Kucheruk in his welcome address underlined the importance of cooperation with the French Party. He also expressed gratitude for the support to public administration and civil service reform in Ukraine.

During the meeting there were discussed the issue of optimization of the system and the structure of central executive bodies as well as the issue of arrangement of the system of public service delivering in an electronic form. As the result, it was agreed to conduct on July 8 – 9, 2010 French – Ukrainian seminar with the participation of the experts from the French Republic under the title “The Most Qualitative and Cheap Public Services”. The Conference on Improvement of Institutional System and Structure of Central Executive Bodies is supposed to be held in September, 2010. 

Director of the Ukraine, Caucasus, Central Asia Office of the Association for the Development of Exchanges in Economic and Financial Technologies of the French Republic (ADETEF) Alain Thibault, ADETEF Expert on public administration Maryna Moreau-Marchuk, director of the School for Senior Civil Service Tetyana Kovtun, representatives of the Main Department of Civil Service of Ukraine took part in the meeting. From the Center for Adaptation of the Civil Service to the Standards of the European Union there were the First Deputy DirectorAndriy Bega, the Head of the Administrative Reform Unit Valentyna Afanasyeva and Senior Consultant of the Unit for Coordiunation of Scientific Researches and Project Management Inna Belobratova.
