Deputy Project Leader, Deputy Head of State Automobile Inspection Department Serhiy Budnyk in his welcome address emphasized the importance of this project for Ukraine and made accent on implemented results of the project. He also handed over the awards to the European partners.
The Head of Operations/ Co-ordinator for Cooperation of Delegation of the European Union to Ukraine Laura Garagnani in her speech reported that the area of transport safety was essential for Ukraine. The European Union is planning to continue the cooperation in this area with Ukrainian partners.
Deputy Director of the Center for Adaptation of the Civil Service to the Standards of the European Union/ Deputy Head of Programme Administrative Office Nataliya Kyrychenko described the general context of implementation of the Twinning instrument taking into consideration the system of public administration in Ukraine.
The French Project Leader Claude Liebermann, Austrian Junior MS partner Günter Breyer and Deputy Project Leader Tomasz Polec, RTA Eric Hoyrup, counterparts Yuriy Gerzhodand Pavlo Polozenko together with the representatives from France and the Embassy of Austria took part in the conference.
