Conference was spent within the frameworks of the project “Development of system of the civil control in Ukraine”, which executor is the international not-state organization “Penal Reform International”, which has a consultative state at the UN and the Council of Europe.

In conference participation Representatives of the central executive power, in particular the Ministries of Justice of Ukraine, Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, Ministry of Labour and Social policy of Ukraine, and also representatives of Secretary of President of Ukraine, Ukrainian Parliament Commissioner for Human Rights, Committee of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine on Legislative Support of Law Enforcement, Public Prosecutor Office of Ukraine, scientists, leaders of public organizations and mass media.

During conference work experience of influence of a civil society on a humanization of the criminal - executive system of Ukraine has been considered, and also the project of new position about the steering committee, prepared by the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine is discussed.
